Books Reviewed by Kids for Kids
Have you ever yearned to tell all your friends about a great book that you finished? Or warn them about a book that doesn’t live up to the hype? Have you ever wanted to learn how to write a good critique or a literary analysis? To get feedback on how to improve your writing?
Or, maybe you’re simply looking for a cool book to read. Who better than a kid like you to recommend one?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, you’ve come to the right place! Kidseyebooks.com is a hub for discovering, critiquing, analyzing, recommending, or dissing books for kids by kids! Read on for details…
Once you’ve read a Middle-Grade or Young Adult book that wows or woes you, create your finest critique (check out our Guidelines for writing a memorable critique or our Literary Analysis page for writing a more in-depth essay). Make up a fun username that we can use if we post your review, and send everything to us by going to the Submit page.
We’ll post only the best critiques! If your contribution needs a little work, we’ll send you suggestions so you can improve it and send it again. If it really stands out, it’ll earn the title of Exemplar (meaning everyone should read it for inspiration on how to write a good review). You might even receive a Clear, Concise Critique Award, or have a summary of your review featured as a Shelf Talker at Fact & Fiction Bookstore. If you post three or more reviews, we’ll add your name as a special category button at the bottom of the Your Reviews! page.
Don’t worry if a book has already been reviewed – we want your opinion. Once your review is ready, we’ll post it in Your Reviews!. Scroll to the bottom of this page for an Archive of all the books that have been reviewed.
